Here’s a new game for players to enjoy: your favorite characters are back on a video game console with a new adventure you can help out with! Recently released in video game stores, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is a sequel to the 2017 Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. 

This Nintendo and Ubisoft crossover features Mario and the Rabbids, and it’s everything we need in a single-user action-adventure strategy game. Those with existing Ubisoft accounts can login and access benefits such as unlocking rewards or connecting to other Ubisoft players. 

The first warm-up mission of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Home is having to find Rabbid Mario’s overalls in the trees or bushes. The nostalgic soundtrack of Super Mario 64 is right there with you to keep you company. After this first part of the game, users are introduced to Manta, a large flying manta ray who is also an antagonist in the storyline. Familiar characters such Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Beep-0 and Starburst, watch as Manta flies over, taking hold of Rabbid Peach. The game begins as the player is tasked to save her. 

Throughout the game, players are given the option to choose between characters such as Mario, Luigi, Peach, and their Rabbid counterparts. New characters such as Edge, Bowser, and Rabbid Rosalina are also available but must be unlocked through skill. 

So far there have been positive reviews for the game and many more are eager to test it out. A strategy game worth playing, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is exclusively available on the video game console Nintendo Switch.
